TENOR uku-1 ANCIENT SITKA
TENOR ANCIENT SITKA
The tree started growing around 1100BC, and then aprox 250 years later [850BC] during a SE Alaska Storm, a mountain landslide brought the tree down and buried it under 20 feet of rock and mud. The tree became saturated with the mineral water of the mountains numerous seeps. Carbon dated at 2850 +/- 30BP
The wood oxidized to the blue grey color because of the permeation of near 3000 yrs of saturation.
These tops are produced with the finest tonewood fiber in the world. Procured from salvage sourced old-growth Sitka Spruce.

Greg, Annette took pics Friday, I have just finished getting them cropped and named, and listed to the 3 sort/sizes. when ordering, make sure you state which set number that is marked in white on the set pictured you are purchasing. I will remove that picture ASAP so someone else doesn't try to order the same set.
