Dreadnought Premium Bearclaw tops are produced with the finest tonewood fiber in the world. Procured from salvage sourced old-growth Sitka Spruce.

The same sort as the full size dread/jumbo guitar tops but thin due to saw wander. Double top luthiers get to save big for not having to purchase the thick boards that results in a lot of extra thicknessing and cost.

These boards are usually under .130″ thickness and still rough . But will clean up for a .040-060″ veneer as a show board for your double top instrument.
