Description
Ancient Sitka Classical size
These tops are produced with the finest tonewood fiber in the world. Procured from salvage sourced old-growth Sitka Spruce.
The Tree started growing up on what is now named Sunna Hae Mountain, near Craig, Alaska aprox the year of 1100BC. 250 yrs later , 850BC, during a SE Alaska Fall storm, a mudslide took this tree down the mountain and buried it under 20 feet of mud, rock and debris. The blue-greycolor is natural from the oxidized mineral permeated within the wood fiber for near 3000 years. The log is very small and only an armload of 2 pc guitar size tops will come from this extremely rare log.
