Guitar top cut from old float logs . Logs that were once lashed together to make floating logging camps. Camps that operated throughout SE Alaska from the early 1900’s until the last camps shut down in 2000 after the closure of Ketchikan Pulp Corporation. The camps were like small towns, with bunk houses and family houses, school church, cafeteria, commissary[store] Shop etc. Just certain areas of particular logs will yield this color board if at all. And everything else has to be good. no rot, no knot, no twist, no breakage, no teredo holes, no pitch pockets. A very limited product
