The wedge cut mandolin fronts are 2 pc booksets. 2 boards measuring 16-18″ long x 6 inches wide x aprox 1″ joing edge thickness tapering to about 5/16 at 6 inch width.
Wedge cut, means the billets are already closer to the finished carved top profile and will finish with more symmetry when fully carved and finished, and less likelihood of running into internal defects such as un-seen pitch pockets
