- Answered by the admin All of our soundboard products are cut VG, which is the optimum of quarter sawing. FYI, Quarter sawing is a process, not a cut. And the dimensions vary, but the min. is a bookset 4" wide x 32" long and each board a min of .140" if sanded smooth
