These tops are produced with the finest tonewood fiber in the world. Procured from salvage sourced old-growth Alaska Yellow Cedar.
If you have never worked with Yellow Cedar, your in for a treat! It cuts like butter and is such a pleasure to machine and work with. Near the same density and weight as sitka, but is a cypress family specie, and lacks the toughness of fiber as the sitka spruce and therefore is a bit more brittle.. Still much stronger than western red cedar.
