# Hour Glass Bearclaw One-of-a-Kind Guitar Tops – D-1-1

The hourglass pattern, though difficult to capture in the picture, is Very prominent. The figure is very high as well, but because the overall color is so white, it’s not seen well in the pictures.
The hour glass pattern is the result of a knot that wasn’t too far away that caused a slight wave in the fiber, and also the deflection of the indented grain to create the very cool symmetrical hourglass pattern that visually enhances the shape of the guitar body shape.
