These tops are produced with the finest tonewood fiber in the world. Procured from salvage sourced old-growth Sitka Spruce.

Have you EVER seen?!, NOPE … and most likely never will again. This is a 5 pack of 10 sequentially cut boards from a floatlog block of Sitka Spruce with curly and bearclaw figure. Not only that, but they have varying amounts a blueish grey color. One side of the stack-the wider boards, is all blue/grey and the narrow side of the stack is lighty stained. The color is result of iron stain from a spike or 6″ staple driven into the log to hold the 1.25″ diameter cable lashings. At least 2 sets will have the nail/staple holes to pattern round. The boards are about 23″ long and range in width from over 6 ” to about 4.5. The narrowest set wide enough for a small ukulele. The pics of the 2nd set with the most nail damage and show a baratone uku pattern on them. One other set has nail holes at one end and closer to one edge.
