A Day with the Alaska Specialty Woods Inc crew We at Alaska Specialty Woods do a lot of different tasks to complete our one job, that is to produce the finest soundboard products in the world.

Earthone Soundboards, from 100% Salvage sourced Old Growth Sitka Spruce, and Cedars, Native and growing in the forest around us. Trees that AVERAGE over 400 Years old.

#### **Here we present a 6-minute video overview showing:**

- Prospecting for materials in the forest
- Acquisition and handling of our raw materials (Logs) both on land and on water
- Breaking down logs by dissecting them into re-sawable blocks
- Sawing blocks into the different soundboard products
- Stickering and drying of all the Earthtone Soundboard Products
- The finishing process with a wide belt sander
- Sorting, grading and putting them into inventory
- Order fulfillment and shipping the product to 1000’s of satisfied customers in over 80 countries around the world
